I was going through my MySpace account and thinking about deleting it, when I came across my Blog on there. I haven't posted something is over a year and decided it's time to get back into it!! The past 2 years have been a roller coaster. In a nutshell:
Todd & I moved from Rowely to Peabody. I started graduate school in Sept 2007. Todd began working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Brigham & Women's Hospital (MGH's rival hospital!!!). I left working on White 6- Trauma Surgery and started a new challenging position in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. We discovered a new delicious restruant on Main St in Peabody called, Sugarcane (yes, it's my favorite: Chinsese!). Todd & I travelled to Miami, got on a giant boat, and cruised to the Bahamas in January 2008. We began searching for a house of our own shortly afterwards. Todd & I expanded our family with 2 kittens in July 2008. My family celebrated my grandparents 50th wedding aniversary (Amazing!!) in August 2008. We illegially hid the kittens in our Peabody apartment until December 2008, when we moved to 8 Pope Street! We finally have a place we can call HOME! The kittens had free rane of the house for about 3 days, before the prettiest girl ever came into our lives! Todd suprised me with a goldendoodle puppy for Christmas!! Hands down the best Christmas gift EVER! She quickly took over the house! Decorating the house could be a full-time job. In February 2009, Todd asked me to marry him... despite being completely shocked and at a loss of words, I said of course!! We've begun planning a Las Vegas wedding. October 10, 2010 (mark your calendars!!).
I've really enjoyed living in Salem so far! We live less than a 10 minute walk to downtown, where there is always something going on or a shop to go in. Delilah and I walk downtown a few times a week. Downtown is so fun to walk through because of all the history. We also live a 10 minute walk to the dog park. Delilah and I go there just about everyday!! On my days off we go mid-morning and usually see the same group of dogs & owners, which is SO much fun because I've gotten to know them all. With summer coming to an end and fall approaching us, I've become really excited for Halloween & Christmas. I plan on enjoying Halloween Salem style this year! And I'm excited to put christmas lights outside this year.
